Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6062063" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>How can you abide in the doctrine of Christ if you've never heard it?  And the Doctrine of Christ, the "truth" as the C of C likes to say, isn't that the C of C is the one true church.  The Gospel is Jesus was sent as a sacrifice for mankind, and those who believe he is the Son of God, that he died for us and arose from death, will be saved.  While that is taught by the C of C they take it further.  You have to hear it from a C of C preacher and you have to acknowledge that the C of C is the one true church.  Can't be saved in the Catholic Church, or Baptist, Methodist, or any other.  If you get just a little wrong, like the Christian Church, too bad, close only counts in hand grenades and horseshoes.</p></blockquote><p></p>
