Most of "Smokey and the Bandit" was shot near there. They had some TV crews filming downtown tonight when I was driving back to the building, they were at the spot where they picked up the Coors beer in the movie.My son worked on some minor movie a few years ago as Burt Reynold's personal assistant. He was in poor health then, my son had to follow him around with a chair because he couldn't stand up for very long. Burt's favorite food was fried chicken, he ate it every day of filming. This week my son is behind the movie camera filming Dolly Parton in a Netflix movie. He stays busy.</blockquote>
