Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6113176" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>You can certainly look at it that way but protectionism is alive and well in much of the world and Trump is trying to break into those markets.  Don't assume because you can buy a Toyota here that a Japanese man can buy a Chevy in Japan.  No matter how you look at it the middle class in the U.S. in the last 40 years has shrunk significantly while our national debt has increased exponentially trying to keep a large part of our population afloat.  No other president has tried to tackle this.  Maybe there's a better way to do it but if so why hasn't it been done?</p></blockquote><p></p>
