Our station is celebrating the 50th anniversary this week. Hamburgers all around! Free, I think.
As someone who is getting laid off that message really set me off today. We celebrated today. Snacks and a nice letter from Fred thanking us for all our hard work as he lays us off.
They’re that out of touch with reality that, yes, they probably do think you’ll want to help their grift on your way out the door.I have found the "Let's Celebrate Our 50th Birthday!" emails we have been receiving from the company store to be completely inappropriate and rather insulting considering what is happening at Express. The nerve of them; they actually think we are going to buy a bunch of that crap before they force us out.
How much tuition money did they give you?Cold burgers, warm Diet Coke, and a personal thumbs up from Fat Freddy. Who needs jobs when you have a company offering up that kind of generosity?
Still maintaining that everything is the same and that nobody is getting laid-off?How much tuition money did they give you?
Wow. That's a real rabbit out of the hat, or more like a leftover hot dog from the Misinformation Dumpster of Memphis. How much tuition money did they give you?
Yes, they do. PSP, "FedEx Cares' and pandas. Don't forget about the pandas. Oh, yeah, and those starving PGA professionals who live paycheck to paycheck from the FedEx Cup.Fedex truly cares!!
Exactly and coming from a real weenie…like Dano. How ironic.Wow. That's a real rabbit out of the hat, or more like a leftover hot dog from the Misinformation Dumpster of Memphis.
We predicted this kind of stuff last year. Try to keep up.Still maintaining that everything is the same and that nobody is getting laid-off?
Sure. I think we have all read your past posts that indicated "nothing was changing" and that "Express couriers were still delivering Express freight" etc. All carefully selected to tamp down the anxiety. On one hand, we have FedEx talking heads openly admitting the business model has fundamentally changed, including an article in Forbes. On the other, we have folks like you and station management telling us "Don't Worry", just like Alfred E. Neuman. We predicted this kind of stuff last year. Try to keep up.
I told Dano years ago this was coming. We predicted this kind of stuff last year. Try to keep up.
