He has a specialist job, he started working for the General Motors Assembly Division as a union plumber/pipefitter. He starts at 5:06 AM every day turning on all the assembly line equipment so the plant will be ready when the assembly line workers start. Then he is on standby all day in case something breaks. He is a shop steward and he told me GM has about eight different tiers of workers. It takes eight years for them to make top pay.</p></blockquote><p></p>
