You really have no clue at all. You do have a vivid imagination though. When you retire, you truly have a calling in writing fiction!! "Infighting"?? Nonsense. You sound like management's wet dream when you speak of infighting. As for being "bamboozled", our pension is finally going to hit $4,000. We were bamboozled in 2002 and 2007. I wish it was like $4500 or 5000 myself, but it is the actuaries which basically dictate what is possible and doable. Getting 150 new Full time jobs is not being bamboozled. We got more full time jobs THAN ANY OTHER LOCAL!! Please. As for the old lawyers, oh yeah the ones that lost Liam's precedent setting arbitration and cost 3 times the current lawyers, NO THANKS. Howie and Buhlert went bye bye along with those overpaid, useless suits!! "1200 members fired"??? Fiction!! As for the Fat Cat "not helping", who knows...but they tried using it to rally the members around important union issues. You know...stuff the old board NEVER DID!! The H/W fund was going broke in jan 2010, when the new board took over. They did the fiscally responsible thing. Did our co pays go up, yes!! If howie and buhlert were responsible officials, they would have told the membership the truth before their re-election. If they cared about the funds instead of their own re-election, they would have done something about it BEFORE the election. That was not CORRUPTION...that was just not living up to their fiduciary responsibility as union officers. No one gets paid to go on brown cafe. I wish someone was...they need a good spokesman. It would save me the effort of researching and writing this myself!!
