Co-pays have been at $20 since 2010...OLD NEWS!! This new board did raise the co-pays....they ran for re-election...and won re-election. Membership understands costs go up and people were using emergency rooms wrongly which cost the plan too much money. Membership accepts the higher co-pays...stuff goes up...the problem is bigger than 804. It is a national problem!! Woman in my doctor's office had a $50 co-pay the other day!! $50!! Actually, this board DID negotiate enough money .... while other locals got only $1...we are getting $2.60!! We got that NOT BY KISSING HOFFA'S ASS like redmond/buhlert did all those years. We got more by saying NO to concessions and selling out the members!! All those years of redmond being on Hoffa's Intl negotiating committee GOT US NOTHING!! Tim and his crew stood by their membership and even backed sandy pope and shoved it in hoffa's face....and we got more than any of those ass kissing locals!! We are getting a nice increase in our pensions and over 150 new FT jobs as well as an expedited grievance procedure!! That is what you get when your local stands up to Hoffa's weakness and UPS wallet!!
