UPS driver notices garage fire, crews extinguish it before flames spread far into house - WHEC
A UPS driver on his route helped prevent a garage fire from getting much worse Monday afternoon.
The driver was on his usual route on Red Maple Drive at around 1 p.m. when he saw flames coming from the corner of a garage and called 911.
The Fairport Fire Department says when they arrived, the attached garage was fully-involved and there was some spread into the house.
