UPS Drivers Of Sonoma-Marin 'Are My Rockstars': Local Heroes - Patch
When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.
This submission comes from Cotati resident Christina Dorrego, the manager of UPS delivery drivers who work out of the Petaluma UPS Hub Center.
They are laying their lives on the line, delivering nonessential and essential items until all hours of the night. They are allotted 14 hours daily and 60 weekly and are running out of time due to unreasonable demands. They deliver trampolines and furniture, pillows and mattresses, bed frames and wine while medical supplies get skipped. I am asking for praise to those who deliver, and mercy from those who can't understand the difference between essential and nonessential.
