Louisville UPS employees assembled personal hygiene kits for the homeless community Tuesday morning.

More than 3,500 kits were assembled by aircraft maintenance workers. The items will be distributed by the Coalition for the Homeless.

The kits are stuffed with hygiene items like recycled soap and shampoo to support the mission of the Clean the World Foundation, a global health organization that provides resources — like water, sanitation and hygiene — to vulnerable communities.

The kits also include inspiring notes for the less fortunate.

BFD....Most of the "Volunteer Opportunities" in the Airline are tacitly forced and are then an opportunity for some know-nothing, (never worked in aviation except UPS), VP to get his picture taken and post some drivel on LinkedIn. Take Bill M for instance.....ZERO aviation experience except UPS. Not Flight-qualified, no A&P, no prior military.....BUT is a huge cheerleader and ass kisser that no one respects. LOL...

BFD indeed.....In my day United Parcel Service would not hire people who had not done their time in the military....very very few exceptions......then the down-grades began...and continue to this day and the future...
