UPS eyes Louisville for nearly 50,000-square-foot driver training center - Louisville Business First
United Parcel Service Inc. is considering bringing its driver training program, Integrad, to Louisville with a nearly 50,000-square-foot campus.
The project is in its very early stages as the logistics provider evaluates the company's business needs, a spokesperson with the company said. But the proposed Integrad/Autograd facility would be located at 10400 Air Commerce Drive, just down the street from the logistics provider’s UPS Customer Center, according to a plan filed in the Louisville Metro Business Portal.
The Integrad program, which began in 2007, brings drivers to the fictitious town of “Clarkville” to practice driving and delivering packages in the mock city complete with small houses, street signs and simulated commercial and residential delivery and pickup sites, according to a company fact sheet on the program.
