UPS gunman filed a workplace grievance three months before deadly shooting rampage - Washington Post
San Francisco police are still trying to determine why a UPS driver shot and killed three co-workers before turning the gun on himself Wednesday at a package sorting and delivery center.
The gunman, who has been identified by police as 38-year-old Jimmy Lam, was wearing his brown UPS uniform when he opened fire during a morning meeting at a warehouse in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood, San Francisco Assistant Police Chief Toney Chaplin said during a news conference. Police have since identified the victims as 50-year-old Benson Louie, 56-year-old Wayne Chan and 46-year-old Michael Lefiti, according to the Associated Press. Two others were injured in the attack.
Police said Lam then fatally shot himself in the head.
