Ups incorrect shipping weight on tracking label

Hi I recently bought a hoverboard/Segway thing from Amazon and it was shipped via ups. In the item description it says the item weighs 27 lbs yet when I tracked the item it says that the package weight is only 11.90 lbs. The seller had great reviews and this item wasn't cheap. Any ideas on why this happened?

It's probably referring to the dimensional weight and not the actual weight
