Ok, yes, this is why I didn't want to spend all that time listening to this, I already understand it. The problem is that health, wellness, whatever you want to call it, is not either or, It's both and more. The suggestion that viruses have not been isolated is absurd, and even if you believe that, bacteria and other microrgnisms certainly have. The reality is that you can be healthy, and still succumb to environmental factors, such as toxins, germs, radiation, what have you. The healthier you are the better your body is able to combat these things. I take a gestalt, holistic approach. It's not just the physical that impacts your immune response, but the mental as well. Stress probably has the greatest degree of impact on your immune system's ability to deal with any disease causing variable. Too little stress, and you don't develop a robust response, too much stress and your system can be overwhelmed. Health is a balancing act, even when it comes to germs. We live in somewhat of a symbiosis with microorganisms, I believe it's called our microbiome. The beneficial ones help keep the pathological ones at bay. But if the beneficial microorganisms get wiped out (due to too much sanitation, for instance) that can also give pathological microorganisms a chance to infect. These things used to be understood better, and now healthcare is done by flowcharts that lead, more often than not, to some sort of prescription. Not exactly a situation that bolsters confidence in modern medicine.
