Message: <blockquote data-quote="SameRightsForAll" data-source="post: 3719002" data-attributes="member: 10588"><p>What are you worried about?  We all know that democratic unions don't strike anymore.  Even their threat of a strike is KNOWN to be only for "leverage" but we see how far this leverage goes in 2018, don't we.  What the Teamsters did in 1997 will never happen again.  It was a different day when good people fought against corporate greed, but based on a lot of the messages on this board I'm seeing more people embrace this greed and are willing to give back everything that was fought for in past contracts.  Just the thought of knowing that the things won in the 1997 contract would only last a mere 21 years of a 25/35 year career makes me feel all democratic and toasty inside.</p></blockquote><p></p>
