[QUOTE="El Correcto, post: 5607867, member: 60631"] Puberty blockers are used to reduce the amount of surgeries these individuals go through later in life including mastectomies. It helps prevent the development of sex traits like Adam’s apples, tits, broaden shoulders and make the surgeries less invasive. Puberty blockers can be a short term treatment option until they are old enough to go through with a full HRT regimen. Majority of sex had isn’t for that purpose. It’s because people like to :censored:, maybe you would know that if you ever had sex partner. Ever consider you might be asexual? That’s the A in lgbtqia btw. The way you sim this up tells how you feel about transgender people altogether. Do you think gender dysphoria is just a fantasy? Is that what the Twitter doctors are telling you? That’s not what your little tangents and constantly posting Bill Maher showing graphs of younger gay Americans shows. That’s just what you choose to say when someone addresses your pissy attitude towards the community. So if someone sat there and said it’s okay to be trans, you’d want to become transgender? We are talking about less than 2% of teens that do this and that’s including the non binary ones who aren’t fully transitioning. I know people hold up graphs wanting to scare people into thinking it’s 10-20% or whatever else but it’s not. I think it’s purely a more supportive atmosphere and a willingness to come out of the closet and be happy. There is a very small percentage of those less than 2% of teens that regret their transition, but you want to completely ruin healthcare for less than 2% of teens overall that have gender dysphoria because of some crap you read on Twitter or heard from Joe Rogan.
