What is the latest and greatest information of the deadlocked problem with Article 43 and 44 [subcontracting and other modes…] of the UPS Freight contract? Which party of the parties, of the contract, is going to play the stalling game for another day somewhere in the future? The first time UPS Freight used a subcontractor while people laid off and being laid off The IBT should have jumped down their throat, or were they too busy back slapping good ole boys and playing golf at the national grievance panels? It sure looks and sounds like the party of the first part is in bed with the party of the second part…but who is on top? After all was said and done allot was said and little was done. Just keep paying those dues and whining the blues!
