Are you saying that partners are gone?
A partner is a fossil from the past? This company has changed value and ownership?

Hired in 1977..recently hired..Union... The whole partnership concept went out the door decades ago. It has always been a dog eat dog/cut throat scenario, those higher end partners still think they deserve a bigger piece of the profits. They are still believing that they are better than the grunts on the ground, most of them are elitist to the core. At one time the leadership promoted honor among their employees (union or not), now you just a parasite draining their profits (pension and health benefits) or preventing them from promotion. This truth has finally sunk in and all of their workforce are scared to rock the boat or upset the status quo, even as a Union employee I saw how the process works (our union leadership had the same mindset), keep in your place and don't get uppity (or else). It was and probably is a sick work environment, could I tell you stories...
