This morning at the end of my preloading shift (I load 3 cars), my lightest truck which is I believe one of the smaller 600’s had ~280 packages on it as projected. The driver to that truck was telling me how sometimes his truck looked like Helen Keller loaded it and went on and on about how I...

Difference between an option day and personal day?

I work in the Oklahoma City Hub and I get 28 hours for my option days plus one personal day. Is there really any difference between the two? Why not just give an extra 4 hours of option day time?

    FMLA and Seniority

So my buddy is kind of sick, and should probably take a break from his preload shifts to get some tests run, maybe even recuperate. I keep telling him to look into FMLA, but he keeps insisting it will mess up his seniority and won't. Does taking a leave on FMLA suspend your seniority or reset...

Part time employees jobs being eliminated by this proposed contract

I just read briefly over the proposed contract. It appears that the union has decided to push even harder to create full time jobs. I can understand this to an extent. There are union employees that do not want to work full time. In fact this had been a great resource for people who are...

So, I got my driver's application from UPS, and they want the requisite driving violations history. Several decades back I had a DUI. Does this totally preclude me from consideration? No Deliveries After 9pm, Including Peak

Am I the only one who caught this proposal? In section 25 they’re asking the company to call back all drivers by 9pm and no one can be disciplined for missed pieces. EVEN in peak! Could this be the section that causes the strike? Or are they trolling?

    Changing times

so I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas. Our entire building is notorious for changing our time cards. 10 minutes here and there sometimes more.
