Just got a text from our manager. No AM operations today. Roads are a sheet of ice and the high will be around 32.
Businesses will all be closed anyway. No one goes to work when there is ice; we have no plows or salt in central Alabama.

You might not have snow plows but at least you have Zaxby’s

I had about 50 stops. Gave them to the mid-day driver and went home.

Someone said they saw the Memphis City Manager on the Weather Channel saying Memphis has 4 plows and 6 salt trucks for the whole city. LMAO! Even if our Hub Is open, I don’t see how people will get to work.

Oh, and UPS has closed their main hub in a Louisville.

No Mem Flight today or Yesterday, nothing left to deliver, ~100 stop route only went out with 35 local/Indy stuff... Ice Coming tonight, so we might not work tomorrow or even Friday. The "plan" sheets had routes with 350+ stops(normally75ish) if we don't move thurs and friday by monday these routes might be north of 500 stops.

No question about it. Our SM mentioned the possibility of delivering Sunday. I’m not DOT but there are tons of newer hires higher than me on that list. I hope.

And they'll be able to deliver 20 stops Sunday! We had one newbie go out with 60 last Saturday at noon, brought 50 back at 1900. Route is in same city as station.

I'd ask the guy tomorrow, if you are scheduled for Sunday, tomorrow.
No if, ands, maybe's or but's., am I scheduled.
If not scheduled, make your plans.
