I been thru Idaho many times (driving) it borders western Canada. Never had a problem.
Cour de Alene is a wonderful little city, and Spokane isn't bad either..... they are both really close to the border.

I don't know, check out their murder rates compared to California. I bet it's much lower.

Btw, that cop from the OJ Simpson case. (Mark Fuhr, I think ??)
He moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, right after the verdict.
That little city is right directly at the border.
You should visit the north side one of these days..... prettier then you think.
