I had a few people that had me put their stuff in an Army footlocker type of box with a combination lock on it. Worked great. everyone was happy.

i know this sounds crazy, but just because someone was an hourly or a driver for even long periods of time, doesn’t make them a good or successful manager

Big Dave wasn't the Corporate guest at our PCM this morning, so I didn't get the chance to set him straight. We had the UPS President of US Operations and a couple of others. George was my Center Manager 21 years ago and he remembered me. He told us how much he appreciated us and what a great job we are doing. My Center is hitting top numbers because we are overstaffed due to trying to prevent the Hub meltdown we had last year. After we left, they had a meeting and laid off a bunch of extra peak management staff. I know my Helper Coordinator is gone.
