If you say so.You're way overthinking this.
Ok yea that will work.Couldn't put as many commercial stops on a car, and close to 8 hour days on Mondays.

That's FedEx Home delivery service. Maybe because there are three different FedEx operations? Express,Ground,Home delivery. How does Fed Ex do it? They seem to be doing just fine with Saturday deliveries
They are currently being merged with ground. That's FedEx Home delivery service. Maybe because there are three different FedEx operations? Express,Ground,Home delivery.
They are currently being merged with ground.
They truly merging, or just using same infrastructure? They will run into same problem, if truly merging. They are currently being merged with ground.
Ground and HD are merging according to the FedEx forum. They truly merging, or just using same infrastructure? They will run into same problem, if truly merging.
Maybe you should re-read a few posts and stop being such a crank.Frigid seems to.
I'm not sure really how they'd implement it. I haven't put a ton of thought into the how. That's what they pay some cubicle junky in Atlanta for.
I'm sure corporate really cares about the threads on BCI'm out on this thread. You all got it. None of it affects me anyways. Just trying to point out somethings maybe not thought of. I'll just wait to see all the threads about "Can they make me work Tues-Sat. I've only been here a year and my son plays baseball on Sat. this is BS!"
I'm sure corporate really cares about the threads on BC
They should pay attention to Fluff, they might learn something.I'm sure corporate really cares about the threads on BC
Preload would work Tues-Fri, and on Sat the plan would be to load both Sat & Mon cars just like any other day. with Sat only being residential, and Monday's primarily business with a few resi send agains

And put out every route? Still would be 8 hr guarantee. Lot of wasted time and money both sat and monWhat they would probably do is load the car as though it were a regular day and direct the drivers not to scan any known closures.
And put out every route? Still would be 8 hr guarantee. Lot of wasted time and money both sat and mon
Then tuesday would be light, with full array of drivers scheduledThey would advance loads on Monday to make up the difference.
They'll offer a "ground Saturday " service level like nda air and two day. They would advance loads on Monday to make up the difference.
Seems legit. They'll offer a "ground Saturday " service level like nda air and two day.
That's it. And they'll negotiate something with the union to offer that work to FT, or TCDs etc. they'll combine the airs and grounds. That'll probably be more cost effective then dispatching every loop and route.
