Well to be clear, poor people spend all that entitlement money, and for the most part it goes to corporations, so.....The difference is corporations often add a lot more value with their free things

You're right. Watched that video of her dancing in college and for some reason thought it was Columbia.Boston University, actually.
The majority supported it, yet Amazon backed out of the deal. And you want the minority to take the blame.NY Gov Cuomo Slams State Dem Lawmakers, AOC for Amazon Debacle: They ‘Should be Held Accountable’
“[A] small group [of] politicians put their own narrow political interests above their community — which poll after poll showed overwhelmingly supported bringing Amazon to Long Island City — the state’s economic future and the best interests of the people of this state,” Cuomo said. “The New York State Senate has done tremendous damage. They should be held accountable for this lost economic opportunity.”
Everybody is the blame but it's nobody's fault. The majority supported it, yet Amazon backed out of the deal. And you want the minority to take the blame.
Sounds like Amazon should take the blame to me.
Sometimes it’s best to take the path of least resistance. Amazon doesn’t need a second headquarters. The construction workers and employees will become targets by some. Why spend the time and energy for negative publicity. A brilliant move by amazon. Or should I say “brilliant non-move?”The majority supported it, yet Amazon backed out of the deal. And you want the minority to take the blame.
Sounds like Amazon should take the blame to me.
Given where you're at now how come you're not hollering for a wall to keep Venezuelans out of Colombia? Oh that's right, many of them are Colombian refugees who went to Venezuela when Columbia exploded back in the nineties.Forget the extremes like Venezuela. Look at Greece. They came up with fantastic ideas to give all of their citizens a better life. Only soon they found they couldn't pay for it all and started borrowing. And soon found they couldn't make those payments. The Green New Deal isn't sustainable and it's not even a good idea. China's economy is still smaller than our's and yet they have twice the pollution. Most of the world's most polluted cities are in China and India. No matter what we do we can't stop the train wreck that's coming if indeed it's coming. Or possibly it could be that global warming is about implementing socialism in the U.S.. Either way, destroying our economy with what she wants in the NGD when it won't save the planet at all is ridiculous.
One of the drivers behind the ACA was that 86% of all personal bankruptcies was due to medical bills which in turn meant that a lot of creditors including small rural hospitals didn't get paid. The number today is 58% . That's not down as low was hoped for but is it better. BTW I'm still waiting for Van T to explain to us just exactly what is " social insurance". Based on his earlier comments perhaps it could mean that "social insurance" is a benefits program that you the individual can draw from but those the individual can't draw from is "socialism".Look. Republicans have demonized Obamacare as socialist. Guess what’s popular ever since people realized that republicans were serious about repealing it. And what is the “capitalist” replacement for Obamacare? Well, the republicans never really got around to that. So is it any wonder that socialism “looks good” to so many Americans?

They purchased a restaurant/bar/cabin rental outfit in the boonies not far from me. I realize this has nothing to do with your post but it's pretty cool for folks in that area. The Kroenkes’ $1.6 billion investment is higher than the final price of the last NFL team to sell, the Buffalo Bills, which were bought by Terry and Kim Pegula for $1.4 billion in 2014. That underscores the allure of the L.A. market as well as the surging price of building the yet-to-be-named stadium.
Well, the big money is sure betting on it.

No, most of them are Venezuelans fleeing a very bad situation. Colombia has been pretty stable for a good while now. The leftists in the jungle lost. Most Colombians in Venezuela and elsewhere had returned home years ago.Given where you're at now how come you're not hollering for a wall to keep Venezuelans out of Colombia?
