I hate the feeling of free fall rides and don’t ride them! I’ll do coasters all day long but no free fall rides
I rode the free fall ride on top of the Stratosphere tower in Vegas at night .(1000+ foot at the top. WHAT A RUSH. I love those rides.

Nothing to see here.... Move along.
He was very adamant on taking this ride.

Possibly because he is used to not fitting in the roller coaster seats and everything has worked out fine.

This is a totally different direction and seating position.

He knew he wasn't safety secured.

The operator knew he wasn't safely secured.

Per the words of the parents...

They saw he wasn't fully secured before the ride took off.

He was a child.

He never should have been able to make that decision.

The operator should have put his big boy pants on and said, you don't fit.

Rather you be mad and alive.

The parents showed blatant disregard for his safety and put happiness first.

Now, nobody is happy.

Old man use to say...

If you happy with me everyday, I'm not making you learn anything.

I miss that mother

The same parents that say after his death that he shouldn't have been allowed on are the same parents that would go to the media and complain about how unfairly they treated their son if they wouldn't allow him on.

Apparently had been turned away at 2 other rides because of his weight. Wouldn't take the hint though.

He's a child.

Was a child.

I always blame parents for their offspring behavior.

People act like they are scared to hurt their kids feelings by saying no.
A 340 pound 14 year old football playing child who should have known his limitations.

Definitely true.

(for imaginary purposes only)

You telling your 340lb, 14yr old son that he better keep walking...

While smacking him in the back of the head...

Not caring about his persistent nagging to get on the ride...

Because you care about his life and safety...

Is probably true too?

Perhaps at least...
