FedEx offered a retiree healthcare plan many years ago. Think it was something like $1300 a month.

Ouch, TeamCare for retirees is $200 for the retiree and $200 for the spouse so $400 tops a month.
After what she put me through I'd rather get a good dog or two. Looks like I've got some serious kidney problems. Not going to be much good to a woman anyways.
And with your pension that's very reasonable. 2.5 years to Medicare!

What you pay them is based on past income levels .
I had paid off my mortgage , two year before joining and got a huge monthly payment for it.
It has dropped down since , keeping my reported income under $114K @ year.
