Are guns trafficked in South America causing drug wars pushing illegals?

I’ve never heard of this take. So our GUNS used by drug gangs create fleeing populations which also push drugs into our country due to demand? Did MSM cover this up?
💥(Mexican President Sheinbaum fires back at Trump in a statement: "Seventy percent of the illegal weapons seized from criminals in Mexico come from your country. She left out that part about the cartels operate in Mexico with a wink and a nod from the Mexican government as long as the money keeps flowing.

And Mexico is in North America. And populations aren't fleeing violence coming here. They are here for economic reasons.

If you dig too deep into what causes mass immigration or drug trafficking you'll be murdered by the CIA

Yet another L for boot licking CIA fanbois, keep those unintended consequences coming!

Does our border do the same thing?Seems we have a dog chasing its tail . Kudos to her for standing up for herself. We needed to hear more perspective.

You can't have it both ways. Support letting them through the border then point out the border is the problem. Either we enforce our border laws or we don't have a country. Trump talks about stopping the flow of fentanyl and we have liberals saying it's useless to try so let it get in and kill 70,000+ a year. Tom Homan is talking about removing the 1.4 million who already have deportation orders but are still here. And any with a criminal record. What they do beyond that remains to be seen but one would think everyone should be in agreement about removing the criminals. Yet there's pushback. What is certain is Biden and Mayorkas violated the Constitution by not enforcing the border and letting all these people in unvetted. And American citizens have paid a terrible price because of it. Let the new administration set things right.

Stopping drugs was talked about in the early 80’s also but we later learn of 3-letter organizations. Just interesting about the guns in the South and overseas. Maybe help those countries finance situations?

Imagine how much worse the drug situation would be if we made no effort to stop the flow?

Notice how the cartels aren’t smuggling and selling alcohol in America?

We create the demand for the black drug market by making them illegal
There's simply no comparing alcohol, bad as it is, with fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, meth and others. Everywhere they've tried legalizing hard drugs they've regretted it and eventually reversed course. The idea that we should shrug and let drugs in, along with millions of unvetted illegals, is without a doubt the stupidest decision an administration has come up with. You want to double down on stupid?

Where did I say anything about “letting drugs in”?

The reason drugs are “coming in” is because America has created a black market demand for them

The same way there is now a massive black market operation for cigarettes in Australia after taxing them so high to discourage use

Imagine if America stopped spending trillions of our tax dollars on telling adults what they can do with their own body.

Imagine if we stopped spending $50,000 PER PERSON to lock someone up in prison over what they do with their own body

Imagine if in addition to stopping the trillions of our tax money on that, we also regulated and taxed the drugs the way we do with the other drugs in our country, like alcohol.

self governance. You don’t need the government to hold your hand and protect you. We’ll be alright

That is one of the very few things you've said that I've ever agreed with.

As a nation we should focus more on education, prevention, rehabilitation.

Make drugs and alcohol as socially unacceptable as tobacco. And we succeeded in that against cigarettes.

And then the dirty SOB's came out with the gawdamm vapes!

All I can do is SMH.

It’s the same idea with censorship.

Censorship doesn’t work. It’s better to just win with the truth and better ideas

We tried banning alcohol in America. It led to a black market, people dying from tainted unregulated products, and crime rose.

It’s the same exact story now

Give people the education to decide what they want to do with their bodies. Give them resources to get help if they want it.

But let adults make their own decisions and do what they want with their own bodies and lives.
