8 hour days start back up January 1st. It's 10% of drivers working so after a long weekend volume should be heavy so there should be a high amount of drivers that qualify. I like the look on center manager's face when I turn the request in next week as the whole district is sinking fast.
I will add that ever since we went to Saturday ground I take my 8 hour days on Mondays. They can't get it right ever. Between way over dispatching everyone else on Monday due to blatant understaffing, and late UPS store commits they always work me over. I do have to file but I never have to meet with management. We just get a check every time.
I also love it on our 3rd day working in January when our whole 9.5 list pages in "today will be my 3rd 9.5 and I want tripple time." Lol
