That's not it.
They were going to name our new community park after someone still alive.....thank God they named it Vista Hermosa Athletic Park. Makes sense because it's on Vista Hermosa.
Again IT"S NOT REP. OR DEM.....that doesn't matter. Name something like Ivy Park or Horseshoe Hall or Fairview Courthouse. Just don't name it after someone living.

Sam Walton is dead. His history is already written, nothing to add to it. If Arkansas wants to name it Sam Walton Airport, it's up to them.
Oh, and I didn't start this thread with the airport naming.....I just added at post #11 to a Clinton thread that was in existence already..
