Do you think the prosecutor in the Michael Brown case should have recused himself?Motion filed to have Marilyn Mosby recuse herself
A motion has been filed on behalf of the officers charged in Freddie Gray's death.
In it, it's asked that Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby recuse herself.
It gives five reasons, including the seizing of personal gain by Mosby and her husband, personal relationships with individuals who will be witnesses at trial, the role of her office as the investigators, the pending civil claim against Mosby and her office, and the financial interest of the attorney for the Gray family, who they claim is a close friend of Mosby

No.Do you think the prosecutor in the Michael Brown case should have recused himself?
He had no personal ties.Do you think the prosecutor in the Michael Brown case should have recused himself?
He used his father's death in a campaign ad when he was running for his position, so it seems he thinks it is relevant to his job somehow. He had no personal ties.
So he was dad was a Leo that was killed in the line of duty.
Far stretch from all the ties mosby has

You're also leaving out that not only was his father killed in the line of duty, but his brother, mother, uncle, nephew, and cousin all worked for the St. Louis police department. His controversial decision to not prosecute two police officers who shot and killed two unarmed criminals in 2000 was one thing, calling the dead men "bums" during the investigation was another.
Let's not forget this is the same media whore who charged Axl Rose with assault for stage diving.
The guy should have recused himself and so should Mosby.
It shows a lack of impartiality. He didn't care that they were unarmed and the investigation showed their car wasn't moving. He viewed them as bums and a drag on society so didn't care that they were murdered.Still seems thin when you call them criminals an he called them bums.
They were in charge of the investigation, and the Ferguson Chief of Police was a St. Louis PD officer for 30 years. The St. Louis metro police is far from lil ol ferguson pd.
Perhaps, but there's a line, especially in a case where it's the police who are on trial. A special prosecutor would have been more appropriate.Every DA probably does and should have connections to the police departments around them.
Agreed, but I think the point is that MOST people are like Morgan, until they break. We (as a society) encourage breaking them.If more people (black and white) were like this Morgan guy the world would be set

That will keep voting Democrat forever because Republicans are evil racists that don't care about minorities.
How did they ever come to believe such a lie?
Remember when DC was "the murder capital of the nation"? I used to work downtown and even then it wasn't that bad. All big cities have their rough areas but calling DC and Baltimore democratically ruled ghettos is pretty funny. They're both pretty cool towns.Hate to correct you, but DC isn't as much of a ghetto as it once was. Gentrification is changing that. The city looks a lot different than it did 20 years ago. But yes, it is still Democratically ruled.
