Mostly true. Ron Wood, and Brian Jones and Mick Taylor before him, does handle the bulk of lead playing, but Keef plays the solo on several of their hits like Sympathy For The Devil and most anytime you can hear a Chuck Berry riff in there, that's him also.

Agreed. But, at one time he stated he never wanted to play lead, just rhythm.

not really hard to argue. Hendrix played like Hendrix, sounded like Hendrix, that is very rare. However he was no session giant and would never be called on for a number of gigs. he was a rare talent though...favorite +, best -. wasted talent too...
