Big Thanks & Shout Out to the IBT...GREAT CONTRACT

22.3 jobs traded in place of the genetically altered 22.4 jobs?

With an hour and half split in the work? Whatever.

I just got a Dominos pizza and the pizza maker told me he got another job starting tomorrow making $16.00/hr plus full medical benefits from day 1.
Non union.
Obviously no one trusts the company and that's the bed they have to sleep in. It's a problem of their own making. Your scenario is a good problem to have in a tight labor market. When the downturn returns pizza delivery etc. will be back to minimum wage.

I’m in management

Take your contract and shove it. More divisive Hybrid Drivers and pay that will not keep up with inflation.

It's a "No" vote here.

And here we go...

Article 41 Full-Time Employees: Significant increases to the full-time progression rates and general wage increases have been tentatively agreed to, totaling $4.15 over the life of the Agreement. A new classification of full-time combination driver starting at $20.50 and reaching a top rate of $34.79 by August 1, 2022. This provision will help to resolve several membership concerns, including Saturday and Sunday delivery, excessive forced overtime, time off, create additional high paying, full-time opportunities for part-time employees and provide thousands of additional contributors to our Teamster pension funds.

Actually i would have been cool with about everything except the hybrid drivers and 3-10 year PT really got shafted on this one.

The raises are lacking some considering the current economic climate. Worth a no vote to see if they sweeten the pot. Sure

There's no way we are striking unless we vote no 3 times.
Provided what has been hailed the best contract ever so far, theres not a chance were striking, top leadership will force it on us whether we vote no or not.

No, agreement states they have to maintain current number of driver jobs throughout life of the contract.
You can argue all you want, and ill give you an example of something. Air drivers were originally hired to run Air on heavy routes with Air. Most air drivers now are running eams, running their route air and then running bulk, running misloads themselves or to the intended driver, alot of times they are also running ground and or helping run routes where guys are going to slow and need "help". These hybrids will be funneled work from the week blowing up weekend deliveries, these hybrids will more than likely end up not even working preload and just straight delivering, these hybrids will wipe out low wait times for a full time route driver, and slowly but surely these hybrids will wipe out the full time route driver.

If this happens, I would seriously CONSIDER getting out of the Union!
I said months ago and i mean it but not neccessarly do it, the only way to wake this union up is to ask to be withdrawn or drop the union. They care about the money and have blinders on, only way i see to wake them up and what i just read about the best contract ever, they need to be woken up.

That’s only your opinion, these hybrid jobs will alleviate a lot of excessive overtime but they should be paid at our top scale. Why aren’t you filing grievances on these air drivers running ground?

Who said i dont, or others dont? How big is your building? How often do you ser your BA? Are all your drivers, feeders, shifters, part timers in the union? Does most of your building think the union is a joke? You seem to work in the perfect building where everything goes to plan. You also from what ive seen in the past 5 minutes dont answer questions, you respond with more questions and are argumentative.
