I imagine this is scary as hell for the fed and the banks. People can now send money to each other, across borders even, needing nothing more than a cellphone.

So far Pokémon cards have been a better investment. Bulky, but when the Pokémon market crashes, at least you will have something you can burn to keep you warm this winter.

At least know the technology and have a somewhat informed opinion.
This romaine lettuce debacle is exactly what amb is trying to prevent. Right now there is a nationwide recommendation to not eat any romaine lettuce at all. This has been going on a week and they have no freaking clue where the source is or how widespread it is.
If the supplier where the outbreak originated was using amb or any of the other block chains working on the same solution every head of romaine exposed could have been singled out and pulled from the shelves in a matter of hours.
You have to see that there’s some value in that. Do we know what that value is yet? No of course not but that’s why it’s a gamble but at the same time an educated gamble.
