No such thing as blockchain technology. Blockchain is a thing. Technology is a thing. Blockchain technology only works with cryptography pow difficulty adjustment. Tokens not needed. Amazon Web services works fine.

Yeah that’s why the entire banking industry is switching over to blockchain and it ain’t bitcoin. Many different proprietary systems all connected through chainlink CCIP.
This is the issue with hardcore bitcoin maxis. They’re too busy staring at the sun (bitcoin) to see the beautiful world around them.

Only Bitcoin solves security and decentralization which makes it worthy of scaling. Without those 3 things you are left being redundant. If only certain people are authorized you are reinventing banking again with VC insider aspirations.

Some people are bitcoin Maxis. Some people have their eye on other things as well.
Either way….there are more than a few nations, including the United States, currently in a sort of arms race to secure the most bitcoin for a “strategic bitcoin reserve.” Many are mining and buying as much as they can. Companies and portfolio managers are adopting it as well. nothing else is measuring up to bitcoin in that regard.
For those reasons, many bitcoiners are giving it their full attention. Or most of it. And there is nothing wrong with that. Nor does it mean we are not aware of potential benefits of Blockchain outside of the bitcoin. There are simply too many pump and dump coins/tokens so anything else with potential utility gets lost amongst them. But trust me when I say that many of us are fully aware of them. Some are even invested.
