I don’t look down on tradesman. They might not have the “book smarts” to attend college, but I respect anyone that learns a craft that is in demand.

Having said that, I think UPS drivers earn their money because of the pace that they perform
their jobs on a daily basis.

We accomplish more in a day than most other delivery drivers. I have had a couple of homes built, and plumbers and electricians are in no hurry!

They do it RIGHT, and proudly stake their reputation on that completed project

What does a teacher or nurse make with over 20 years in working in a major city.

You are forgetting the attribution rate for every UPS Union position, more prone to disability and injuries.

40 bucks an hour with one income is lower middle class.

They do not make what they used to make

Back in the day they want to explore overtime down so that the lowest paid on car made more than the highest paid driver.

There used to be an incentive to go into management
Now the new management is not have a pension plan and they also have to pay towards their health care

Management got the raw end of the deal
