Don't think she's that tall

Could be wrong
This seems to be the general consensus about the move to the SEC.

Let's see...
Football has already won the East twice and was one quarter away from making it to the National Championship in 2013.

Volleyball already has two conference titles

Women’s hoops is becoming an NCAA tournament regular

Softball already is an NCAA tournament regular

Soccer made the NCAA tournament a few times since the move

Baseball is breaking through

Men’s hoops appears to be turning a corner

Pretty much all of the non-revenue sports are crushing it right now

New softball stadium done, upgraded baseball clubhouse, football stadium upgraded with a new facility on the way

Athletic department swimming in money

…am I missing something?

No the SEC distributes over 30 million a year to all of their teams.
Just being facetious. I know Joeboopup's college went on a building spree all the while tuition was and is going through the roof. I get that a good athletic program will bring in much needed revenue but they spend like drunken sailors.

University of Missouri is one of the few athletic departments that operates in the black almost every year.

I totally understand where you're coming from though college should not cost what it does. The biggest problem though is the layers of administration and paying 3-4 professors 6 figures to teach the same class.

Does anybody really care about soccer and women's basketball
In the SEC football is king
The rest just filler and a drain on the athletic department

Administration is the big problem with both hospitals and universities.

I forget what the exact number was but in the 60's there was like 30 teachers for each administrator. Now it's like 8 to 1.

Latest numbers I could find were 2014. Only 24 teams operated at a profit. That's crazy.

And that year Missouri may not have since they didn't get a full share of SEC money and paid a big 12 penalty the first couple of years.

guess you missed the two sec east championships and the 12 minutes away from playing for a national title.

Essentially exactly as close as Missouri ever got in the big 12.
