Back then I think it was 1 punch a month for most so really not an issue. Strike was for 3 weeks. No strike pay for the first week, then about $50 the next week which was about equal to dues, then I was on vacation for a week (and still got vacation pay).

Mine was off the books as well.

The only reason I still remember the figure is I was still paying child support of $250/week. When I handed my ex the money she asked me how much I had left over-----I showed her the three singles----she handed me back $100.

I was still married ..with a brand new house .... I was panicking a little not knowing how long it would last .....X worked full time also ...but the not knowing sucked
