Was thinking about it but really, what good would that do? Seems to me the finger was just too damaged. I think I will try to see a specialist when I get benefits and enough time racked up to take off for it.

What did your lawyer say that you should expect post surgery? Did he/she say that it would be perfectly straight or did he/she concede that there may be permanent disfigurement?

I haven't consulted a lawyer at all through any of this. Doctor said "I'll do my best, but there's always a possibility it'll never be straight". I don't believe he thought the finger would be this crooked though. I personally think the surgery was an expensive waste of time. The joint it too badly broken, you can tell even on the x-ray.
