I know this isn't directed to me but what does this mean? What or who is mom, and I assume a mod is a moderator or person on this site with editing type privileges.

But I could totally be wrong, which would prove my point on why I'm not sold on this group just yet. Because it's confusing. I will pick up the lingo tho I'm sure. Just need a little explanation along the way or else there's no reason to read what's going on because I don't know yet.
