Something I read said there may end up being a million flood cars.Don't be trying to ship them north. We learned long ago to avoid flood damaged cars

I know a guy who scored top in his firefighter exam. He got passed over like 5 times.
I knew a guy who needed to score in the 90's to get in but a minority only needed to be in the 70's.
He gave up after a couple of tries.
We have been sitting on over 6,000 re-called VW diesels ever since that program started. We have no room for flooded cars. I hope they are planning on scrapping them. There is no way to make good a car that has been submerged in water once it gets to the dash. I did have a friend whos new pickup went through the ice and sat on the bottom of a lake for over a week. After he got it out he bought it back from the insurance company, replaced a few parts and left it in another friends big dryer used to reduce the moisture content of lumber for a week. He got it running but sold it soon after. I never heard how long it lasted after that.
I know a guy............ Wait! That guy was me!
I was passed over several times for a civil service job due to race and/or gender. I realized that was the norm at the time.
Then, Parcel hired me...........
They are never the same but you can usually get them to run for a while. Better to scrap them for parts.
I scored a 98 out of 100. Never got the call....Like getting passed over for civil service jobs in order to meet number.

That's what I tried for.Irish are supposed to be cops instead of firemen anyway.
not Irish enough? That's what I tried for.

Those aren't the rules though. That's reverse discrimination at its worst.I know a guy............ Wait! That guy was me!

Oh, yeah. All the white guys who beat me out were vets. Like I said, those were the rules, and I accepted them.

Like I've said. No one truely wants a level playing field
Because we all know there is no possible way a minority can score higher than a white male, right? Those aren't the rules though. That's reverse discrimination at its worst.

I highly doubt that's what he meant.Because we all know there is no possible way a minority can score higher than a white male, right?

Yes ... know stfuBecause we all know there is no possible way a minority can score higher than a white male, right?
No that's what that whole discussion is about. There is no such thing as reverse discrimination. It's a copout and proven to be a false narrative.I highly doubt that's what he meant.
