@Brownslave688 if your daughter likes Ariel - be the favorite parent and dress up with her!
If your one year old daughter has long red hair (Looks like Ariel) and that's why the costume was chosen by your wife...
-There's plenty of red headed characters she could be, without you dressing up too.
*But if (she's got red hair and) you do it now, maybe your daughter won't be a Halloween whorish looking Ariel when she's older..? Could be a benefit.
If your wife just came up with the idea randomly... than she is pretty uhh imaginative.
Or maybe she just thinks you'd look hot with a crown beard and Triton?
But you should only agree, if she wears the costume of Ursula the evil witch- which in turn would bring more attention to the wife for looking ridiculous (or creative?).
*And you'd still be a good dad for being a part of the family costume.
