I have a 60" I bought a couple of years ago. It is a smart TV but without a lot of the extra bells and whistles. I hooked up an old computer to it for streaming. Much better than the built in functions of the TV and more flexibility than streaming devices.

The naked eye can't tell the difference in 4K resolution and regular HD until the tv gets over 60 inches.

Although you probably can't hardly even find a regular HD tv anymore.

When 4k TV's cost a lot more they weren't worth it. Now you might as well get one even if you see little difference. Not much 4k programming to see even if you have a TV big enough to notice a difference.

Yep we got a new tv 3-4 years ago. Our choices were a 70" regular HD or a 55" 4K. We went with the 70"
