It becomes really cheap when you only drive a couple miles each day. For my car, I only go to the gas station every 2 months.
We got into the housing here and UPS helped subsidize the higher house payments for the first 5 years. Timing!

I was talking to an oil guy, he said summer blends have additives, and winters do not.
Has more to do with the price of oil, which is up to ~$70, than the additives.
