Wow! News reporter was just talking to the head of a roofing crew working on the roof of an office building yesterday. The guy said it was showing 160° up there yesterday on their gauge.

Roofers usually start at first light and quit for the day around noon when its this hot.

My old center was I whiffing distance from a rendering plant. Some hot days were nauseating. Smell was a combination of sewage and barbecue.

Yep and if it gets hot enough the asphalt crews will run like 7 pm to 9 am.


We are one of the few hot jobs that if forced to work all day through the worst of the heat with no change in schedule.

The smell of the trucks that pick up the dead stuff is really bad! I hope that job pays well?
