Took my kids to a monster truck jam when they were about 10-12 years old. I couldn't believe how loud it was, even though we weren't that close to the field. What made it worse was it was in the astrodome.

My best friend took his son when he was 4 or 5. He cried the whole time. Said it hurt his ears.
