It’s funny to me that people want so desperately to live in the county where my route is that they’ll buy a house in a new development across the road from something like this. The whole road is industrial with a rock quarry, concrete place, etc. I wonder how long before the new homeowners start complaining about the noise, heavy trucks and the danger to their children?

A lot of the new buyers won't realize what else is in the neighborhood. And the developer won't tell them.

Old quarry isn't always bad ... after the quarry shuts down. A lot of upscale houses built around quarry lakes.

No idea. All I know is 25 years ago when that was my route, it had been there a long time before that.
