Sorry to bust your bubble but yes they did. Their protest group had the right to stand there. And peacefully protest. The other group didn't have any extra rights.

Selma and civil rights have absolutely nothing to do with this situation.
Sorry to bust your bubble. First Amendment. Look it up.

That kid made you want to wipe the sneer off his face but he was with his group when the Native American went up to him. I respect veterans but doesn't give him an automatic free pass either

The kids were chanting build that wall which the other group didn't like and went up to the kid drumming in his face and saying no wall and white people go home to Europe.
Please don't give all the facts, it makes it so much harder to slant the news.

They can assemble all they want as long as they aren't impeding another groups movement.
They had the right to protest exactly where they were. They didn't have to move out of the way of another group of protestors. The other group could have gone around them.

Its not as if they were blocking a freeway like some other protesters like to do.

I didn't know a freeway had the Freedom to Assemble. And no they don't have the right to surround another group to impede their movement.

The other group went up to the kids and started the incident. They were not impeded.
Looks familiar.
