Too many idiots. I'm not a Bud fan but corn syrup is normal for beer. What would be bad is using cane sugar which would give the beer a cidery taste.

I don’t get what their marketing angle was.

Bud uses rice as their filler. People that drink bud light and miller lite aren’t all that worried about high quality ingredients.
