MTD. 8hp. Got it at a yard sale. It wasn't good in heavy stuff but now it's great. Closing that impeller gap made all the difference.

It may or may not be 3 pieces of used UPS belt in there.

Spray the blades with WD40. Not only does it help throw the snow further (less friction) but it also stops the wet snow from sticking.

At this point she shouldn't need to be told. She should just know as soon as the snow touches the ground to get ready .

I use some spray on car wax. Seems to work. Nothing sticks on the impeller now because the belting scrapes the housing.
