What's you take on the Boeing thing Frig?
Boeing should have disclosed it better, but the aircraft itself is safe. The problem is pilot training, neither of those airlines taught the pilots what to do if they had that kind of error. All just a political overreaction because people know nothing about planes.

I read where that same plane had the same problem on another flight just before the accident and an off duty pilot dead heading was in the cockpit and told them how to save the aircraft. They were never trained how to use that system.
